I’m Back!

Filed under: Uncategorized — megan at 9:02 am on Thursday, January 3, 2008

After some very peculiar problems, I’m now able to post on my blog again (thanks to Derek).

I feel as though I have a lot to catch up on.

Basically, right now I’ve just started giving exams. Grade 2 started last night and I’m still having lessons with grade 1 and my British Lit class, but they’ll have exams next week.

Let me tell you…2 hours of sitting still in a cold classroom after dark is not fun. What was I thinking? I honestly couldn’t feel my fingers last night once I finished.

Anyway, all of this will be finished about a week from now, so I’m looking forward to that. Huzzah! The goal is to have testing marking (Lit written exams) finished before my birthday next Saturday. We’ll see if I can manage that.

Hi, Megan!

Good to see your site up and running again. It’s a poor second to actually having a conversation with you, but it’s way better than nothing.

Let me know where things are concerning theological studies. I have an idea that the online program at Western Theo Sem starts in January (2009, that is), but I may not be quite right about that. I know you have many, many things on your plate right now — I just thought I would push this one a little bit.

Peace,
Pr. Mark

Hi Megan– Missed you and am glad you are busy and not sick. I hope your Christmas was peaceful and that you were with people you love. Exam time is stressful, but like everything else– it passes. I hope your students do well and that they are ready to start fresh next semester. My grandchildren had a banner holiday in that they are all reading Harry Potter these days– even the first grader, who has to keep up with his older brother and sister. God keep you– Love, Marilyn

I wanted to tell you Happy Birthday, I got a forward from Grandpa to let me know. I hope you are doing well and it hasn’t been too awfully cold, I saw a post that it wasn’t very good weather. I am going to look at your site more tomorrow. For right now I am going to get in the shower and then crawl in bed. Have a Happy Birthday.

Hi Meg-
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!(belated)
Your mom and I have been doing “wedding” conversation for the last several weeks. I know it is hard to be so far away and unable to have a “hands on” experience. Your mom is doing a great job (and very much enjoying the whole thing!), so relax and trust her. She’ll do what you want and we’ll join together for a wonderful day. I look forward to seeing you soon and giving you a BIG hug (and a glass of wine)while listening to your many stories of life in China. Blessings and Love- Tracy

Yo! I just wanted to mention that your “save the date” announcements were cute. :) I can’t wait till your wedding and when you’re back. It seems like it’s getting so close!
